Deepika Padukone knows how to perfectly dress for any occasion. The actress recently jetted off to Davos, Switzerland, flaunting her classy trench coat at Mumbai airport. As soon as she reached Davos, the Chhapaak star geared up to attend the 26th edition of the World Economic Forum. Deepika was honoured with an award for spreading awareness about mental health and her contribution to the field. It was a big moment for DP and her fans and family, who have supported the actress throughout her journey. For the occasion, Deepika Padukone wore an Alex Perry purple gown, highlighted by cape sleeves. The actress did not go overboard with accessories, simply opting for earrings by Mahesh Notandass. With nude makeup and smoke eye, DP completed her look for the day.

Talking about Deepika's style statement, her designer Shaleena Nathani recently told Mumbai Mirror, "When she is on a flight, the outfit has to be functional, yet make a style statement. Airport looks are practical with just one striking piece, which elevates it without any fuss. For events, we keep it as real as possible because that's when fans get a glimpse of who she is and we don't want to project her as a larger-than-life person like the characters she plays on the screen. But when it comes to the red carpet, we play around with colours, textures and even silhouettes. When she goes for the Cannes Film Festival, the only brief she gives us is to have fun. Deepika loves experimenting when she's at festivals and galas."
