Shreyas Talpade reveals a ritual that he follows on his birthday every year [Exclusive]
He has some of the biggest comedy films to his credit and his best performance has to be Iqbal. We are talking about Shreyas Talpade, who has been associated with the film industry for two decades. Shreyas didn't limit himself to only films and tried his luck on TV too. With every passing day, Shreyas is striving to work hard as an actor and producer. After years of featuring in movies like Golmaal, Housefull 2, Entertainment, Great Grand Masti, the 43-year-old donned the producer's hat for a Marathi film called, Poshter Boyz. And now, he is returning back to TV to host a brand new quiz called, Mind Wars. Prior to his show's premiere, Shreyas Talpade exclusively spoke to Bollywoodlife about Mind Wars, his birthday plans and his upcoming projects.
Revealing an annual ritual that Shreyas follows on his birthday, "Birthdays are about getting a ywar older, so I don't know if we should celebrate or sulk about it. But jokes apart, what I've been trying to do since the last of couple of years is that I try and sponspor a child's education. It can be a boy or a girl, whoever is in need at that point of time, then I try to sponsor their education. If I can make a little difference to the life of one individual, then I will consider myself fortunate."

Coming back to his show Mind Wars, the actor had earlier said, "I am excited to be a part of Mind Wars as it allows me to do something very different from my past projects. I belong to a generation that has grown up watching 'Bournvita Quiz Contest' and I look at this show as a great opportunity to bring back the excitement and the competitive streak we would feel as kids while watching other bright kids participate and compete on a quiz show on national television."

On the work front, he will be next seen in Golmaal 5 with Ajay Devgn, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Arshad Warsi. The film has been officially announced but there's no update on its release date.
