Street Dancer 3D day 2 Box Office collection: Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's dance extravaganza continues to charm

Keeping its second-day charm still on, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's dance extravaganza Street Dancer 3D has continued to spell the magic on the audience. The film despite receiving poor reviews from the critics has managed to fare well. Street Dancer 3D opened with RS 10.26 on its first day. Although a little underwhelming the film did manage to collect well. On the second day the film witnessed substantial growth. On Saturday, the film collected Rs 13.21 crores. Making the total two days collection of the movie to be RS. 23.47 crores. The film has witnessed the biggest jump in the Mumbai circuit. Other circuits re reportedly picking up slowly as well.

Street Dancer 3D has been in the news since the beginning. The fact that Katrina Kaif bowed out of the film made a lot of headlines. The film is a big budget one and has been shot lavishly in London. It stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva and Nora Fatehi in lead roles.

The film released with Kagaa Ranaut's Panga. The film which opened with poor numbers on Friday has witnessed massive growth on the second day. The film opened with RS 2.70 crores on the box office on its opening day. However, the growing word of mouth, has witnessed heavy growth. The Saturday numbers for the film doubled by more than 100% - records. On Saturday the film has raked Rs. 5.61crores, making a total of Rs 8.31 cr.

Critics have heavily panned the film. A part of BollywoodLife's review read, "Street Dancer 3D has a slow first half. It is very boring. The story does not move you emotionally. Things start looking up in the second half. It had a good premise of a team wanting to go something for homeless immigrants and could have been much better. While Shraddha Kapoor is great in the dance sequences, her character is rather poorly written. None of the characters involve you on an emotional level."
