Tuesday Trivia: Did you know birthday girl Bipasha Basu pursued medicine before modelling?
Bong beauty Bipasha Basu turns 41 today. Can you believe it? Well, we surely don't. Thanks to her fitness regime, Bipasha doesn't look a day over 25 tbh. Her hourglass figure and her slightly husky voice have been driving many men crazy over the years. Ever since she stepped into showbusiness, Bipasha has always been one to take up different roles and different kinds of films. However, did you know that Bipasha took up medicine initially?
Yep, you read that right. Well, if at all, Bipasha Basu had completed medicine, she would be one hottest doctor on the Earth, for sure. Anyway, want to know why Bipasha quit medicine? Because she fainted! That's right. In an interview, Bipasha had revealed, "I actually wanted to be a doctor. But doing all those horrid rat dissections made me faint. I studied science till the 12th standard and later took up commerce. I was planning to do chartered accountancy, but fate had something else in store for me."
Bipasha is now happily married to actor Karan Singh Grover. They met on the sets of Alone and loved blossomed. Bipasha, who lovingly calls Karan her "monkey", said: "He is an all-heart human being. He is emotional and sensitive. He senses every mood of mine and tries to cheer me up always if I am angry or upset with anything in the world. He is the kind of person who makes me smile and laugh a lot and takes care of me. You don't see such sensitive people around in today's time but Karan is a person who is ruled by heart, which is my most favourite thing about him."
