BAFTA 2020: 1917 rules the roost while Joaquin Phoenix and Renee Zellweger bag top honours

The BAFTA 2020 was held last night. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts is an independent charity that supports the art forms by conducting awards and honouring the deserving candidates in the respective categories. The BAFTA was held in the Royal Albert Hall in London, yesterday. The BAFTA's are criticised for nominating and lauding the all-white candidates in the Best Actor category as goes for the all-male director's category. EE Rising star award Michael Ward

Renee Zellweger, Joaquin Phoenix, Laura Dern and Brad Pitt have till now won all the major awards for their acting categories in this season. Now with the addition of Baftas, they have won at the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and Critics' Choice Awards. And if we guess right, the four of them are likely to rule are the Oscars as well.
