Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to wrap up the film in Mumbai with some intense romantic scenes

Yesterday, the makers of Brahmastra along with the cast, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan took to their social handles to announce the release date of their film. Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji took to their social handles and shared the released date. The most anticipated films of Bollywood, Brahmastra was set to release in December 2019. But Ayan decided to postpone it due to the pending VFX work. Ayan wants it to be perfect.

Now, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the cast and crew will wrap up the first part of the trilogy soon. The cast will complete the film with the 20-day schedule which is said to kickstart in next month in the maximum city. A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, "The team will shoot some romantic scenes with RK and Alia and complete some patchwork with the rest of the cast."

"It's an ambitious film for Ayan as the visual effects are not limited to the action sequences. Even the real shooting locations will be enhanced with VFX, which is why the film has taken longer than expected," the source further informed the leading daily.

"The new date was announced keeping in mind the time required for the finishing touches. There will be no delay in the release now," the source further added. Coming back to the film, Brahmastra, the filming began in February 2018 and was extensively shot in London, New York, Scotland, Varanasi and Manali to name a few. Apart from, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, the film also stars Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in key roles. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo appearance in the film as well. Brahmastra releases on 4 December 2020.
