Hungama 2: Meezaan Jafri REVEALS Akshay Kumar told him to blindly follow filmmaker Priyadarshan

After impressing us with his acting skills in Malaal, Meezaan Jafri is currently busy in the shooting of Priyadarshan's Hungama 2, which also stars Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Pranitha Subhash, Rajpal Yadav and others. The comic caper marks Priyadarshan's Bollywood comeback after seven years and while we all know, he is the master of comedy films, the expectations are sky-high from this filmmaker. With Hera Pheri, Malamaal Weekly, Bhool Bhuliya, De Dana Dan, Bhagam Bhaag, Dhol, Chup Chup Ke, Garam Masala and other ventures, Priyadarshan has taken us on a laugh riot and we expect Hungama 2 to do the same.

Young Meezaan, who signed the film without reading the script after hearing that Priyadarshan is helming the film revealed that nobody knows what is happening on the set apart from him. He told Mumbai Mirror,"Comedy is one of the most difficult genres and Priyan sir shoots in a unique way. You are given the dialogues just before the shot. He shows you how to play it out on camera and you just have to follow his cues. Nobody knows what is happening on the set except him. I spoke with Akshay (Kumar) sir on the sets of Sooryavanshi about this and he told me to blindly follow Priyan sir; it will turn out great. He confessed that whatever he has learnt about comedy is from the filmmaker." He further said, "I have a special connect with Priyan sir. My grandfather acted in his first Hindi film, Muskurahat."

Main Khiladi Tu Anari's iconic hit track, Chura Ke Dil Mera will be recreated in Hungama 2. Talking about his experience with the actress, Meezaan said, "I have grown up watching Shilpa's movies, idolising her and hoping I'd meet her one day and get to take a picture with her. So, doing a movie with her is sublime. It feels like I am in the movie that I'm watching."
