Thalapathy Vijay at Master audio launch: I've dressed like my friend Thala Ajith

The audio launch of Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi's Master took place yesterday and once again the Kollywood megastar won our hearts with his speech at the event. The 45-year-old star started the launch with a dance with Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Anirudh Ravichander and said his favourite hook line "En nenjil kudi irukkum... (My dear fans, who reside in my heart)' I am sad that my fans couldn't attend the audio launch. We did this as a private event due to coronavirus. Thank you and I am sorry."

Though the highlight of the event was the moment when he spoke about his contemporary, Thala Ajith. "Like my friend Ajith, I've come dressed in a blazer," he said. The actor also praised his co-star Vijay Sethupathi and said, "Vijay Sethupathi has now become a person who cannot be avoided. We have seen many negative characters, but his role in Master will be special. I asked him why he agreed to do the film and he shut me down by saying four words - I really like you."

Appreciating his director, Thalapathy Vijay said, "With Maanagaram, Lokesh made us notice his talent. His next film Kaithi made us watch it again and again. Lokesh has a special talent. Being a banker, he has managed to do a film like Maanagaram, which has a complex script. He won't even have a scene break-up paper in his hand on the set of Master and I was confused seeing this. I wondered how to work with him for the next few months. Later, I realised, Lokesh is not just a planner, but a master-planner."
