THIS Student Of The Year 2 actress will romance Aditya Roy Kapur in Ek Villain 2

After the grand success of Ek Villain, audience and cinema lovers are more than excited for the second instalment. While Disha Patani is set to romance, John Abraham in this crime thriller, the makers have locked another actress opposite Aditya Roy Kapur and it's none other than Marjaavaan and Student of the Year 2 girl, Tara Sutaria. The 24-year actress will play the character of a singer in the film. Interestingly, Tara is a trained singer and has sung in the operas too.

Director of the film Mohit Suri, spilled the beans on her characters and told Mumbai Mirror, "It takes a lifetime to get the nuances of a musician but luckily for me, Tara has been training for this all her life. What more can a filmmaker ask for? A new-age, uninhibited voice which comes from a place of honesty. That's exactly what my character needs in the film." The filmmaker will be conducting ice-breaking sessions with the stars before the film starts rolling. The reports also suggest that Mohit is planning to his own universe of villains, who will come together for the epic final showdown.

With this franchise, Mohit is looking to explore the dark side of human behavior and continue with it in the future," said a source close to the development. With these four characters, we are expecting Ek Villain 2 to be more intriguing venture. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures and T-Series. It is set to hit the screens on 8th January 2021 and will lock horns with SS Rajamouli's RRR, which stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in key roles.
