Aparshakti Khurana opens up for the FIRST time on Jabariya Jodi's failure, doing Rashmi Rocket with Taapsee Pannu [Exclusive]

Before foraying into Bollywood, Aparshakti Khurana had established himself as a fantastic RJ and TV host. But, one fine day, the actor's life turned around. We are talking about the time he was offered Nitish Tiwari's Dangal, which remains to be a blockbuster film of all times. Although his first film was a big hit, the actor never thought he would have it easy in the industry. However, luck was in his favour. After Dangal, Aparshakti Khurana made a good choice of scripts, which eventually resulted in a high success ratio. Most of the films that he has done have performed extremely well or decently at the box office. Be it Luka Chuppi, Stree, Pati Patni Aur Woh or Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Aparshakti's films have consistently done well at the BO.

While he was entertaining the masses with his fine performances, the actor faced a roadblock with a film called, Jabariya Jodi, which featured Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra. Despite him making us laugh out loud with his comic timing, the film failed at the box office. And Aparshakti Khurana himself agrees to this fact. In an exclusive Instagram live chat with us, he opened up for the first time on Jabariya Jodi's failure.

In conversation with us, Aparshakti Khurana happened to accept the fact that Jabariya Jodi failed. While he was talking about his fear of failures, the Stree actor said, "Of course, I do fear failures. They aren't visible a lot of times, but we meet failures often. If I have to talk about one film which, in a way, failed is Jabariya Jodi. It is important for us to know where we have failed and where we haven't."

Aparshakti also spoke about his possibility to do Rashmi Rocket with Taapsee Pannu. When asked if he has signed the dotted line, the actor said, "Things aren't finalised as yet. Of course, I am reading the script of Rashmi Rocket. I will take a call after the lockdown depending on how things change. But it is a really good script, RSVP is making some really good films. So, I am really looking forward to collaborating with them. I am a big Taapsee fan, so I am looking forward to collaborating with her as well."

Also, for those who aren't aware, Aparshakti is gearing up for his first film as the lead. His upcoming project is called Helmet and he will be seen romancing Notebook actress Pranutan Bahl in it.
