Coronavirus pandemic: Rapper Fred the Godson passed away due to COVID-19 complications

The Novel Coronavirus continues to claim lives. Rapper Fred the Godson lost his battle to the virus. The New York rapper was 35 and the news of the same was confirmed by one of his friends on his social handle. "(Fred) was loved by many never heard one bad thing about you RIP @fredthegodsonmusic Sleep Well my brother," Dj Self wrote beside sharing the pictures of Fred. The rapper's friends and colleagues are in a huge shock and denial over the same.

Fred's frequent collaborator, Jacque shared a picture of the New York rapper from his hospital on his social handle and wrote, "Sleep in peace my brother..... ??? You'll never be forgotten. LOVE U MAN. I have so much things to say but I'm lost right now." Have a look at Jacque's post here:

Condolences started pouring in for the rapper on these posts. Just on Wedneday, Fred's spokesperson had revealed that the rapper was doing fine. However, the spokesperson had also said that his kidneys were not functioning and that the Retaliation rapper was at a greater risk than other patients as he had asthma. Fred's friend Fat Joe penned a heartfelt note on the former's passing. Sharing a picture of the two, Fat Joe wrote, "My little brother ooooh how sad am i, i prayed and prayed and prayed for you all night long. So many dreams so many conversations so many great times we had. I am in shock to say the least i love you soooooooo much little brother it's been years since i felt this pain. I always wanted the best for you, i played you all my important songs to get your feed back i respect you so much as an artist." (sic)
