'I got to meet Dalljiet,' Shalin Bhanot reveals why Nach Baliye 4 will remain close to his heart [Exclusive]

Shalin Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur were one of the most loved TV couples. Their friendship culminated into love and thereafter they took the plunge in December 2009. But, their love story did not have a happy ending as the couple decided to file for divorce, six years after their marriage. By the time they got divorced, Shalin and Dalljiet were blessed with a lovely son, Jaydon. After their divorce, things got uglier between the duo from Dalljiet's end. However, they soon sorted out their differences for the sake of their kid. Today, they share a cordial equation and are friends with each other. They do not shy away from talking about each other in public.

And that's what happened when Shalin Bhanot interacted with us on an Instagram live. The actor spoke about his past projects, upcoming ones, his son Jaydon and ex-wife Dalljiet.

In conversation with us, Shalin revealed how he's keeping in touch with his little one, Jaydon. He said, "I keep talking to Jaydon over video calls and enjoy a lot speaking to him. He is really enjoying. At times, we also happen to play with each other over a video call. He keeps showing me different things as well."

The Naagin 4 actor further mentioned how smart his kid has become. "These days, kids have become very smart and he (Jaydon) belongs to a category of kids, who teach their parents' different things. He keeps telling me this is this, this is that." Giving an example of the same, Shalin added, "Recently, we were talking about planets and I happened to ask him to name nine planets. To which he said, 'Dad, there are 8 planets. Pluto is not a planet anymore.' So, I was like, 'Okay, ouch!'"

Shalin also spoke about how Nach Baliye 4 is special to him because of his ex-wife Dalljiet. "Nach Baliye is obviously close to my heart. I got to meet Dalljiet because of that show, so that is very close to me. And because of Dalljiet, I got my son Jaydon. So, it will be extremely close to me," he said and signed off.

It's good to know that Shalin and Dalljiet haven't let their separation affect Jaydon, isn't it?
