Coronavirus pandemic: Shah Rukh Khan urges people to donate to help stray animals

The megastar of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, who is helping the film fraternity and government through donations in the global crisis of coronavirus, has requested people to donate the money for the help of stray animals. The 54-year-old star tweeted, "As the world is coping with the outbreak of COVID-19, We must not forget those without a voice. Let's make sure stray & abandoned animals are treated with care and compassion." Apart from SRK, Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra also requested people for the same.

Shah Rukh Khan is also collaborating with Priyanka Chopra for a virtual event initiated by Lady Gaga. The popstar announced a worldwide telecast of this event, which will also feature Paul McCartney, Lizzo, Billie Eilish and others. It'll be held to support healthcare workers, whose lives got affected due to the outbreak of coronavirus. The virtual event is called "One World: Together at Home", and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert.

Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in 2018's Zero, has not announced his next project yet.
