RIP Rishi Kapoor: Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Hema Malini and other Bollywood celebs mourn the demise of the veteran actor

Thursday morning began with another sad news. Bollywood gets another shock as veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passes away. This year is turning out to be the worst one with so many unwanted things happening around. The news of Rishi Kapoor's demise has left us all teary-eyed. Amitabh Bachchan tweeted and revealed the news that the superstar is no more. He wrote, "He's GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !" This is surely unbelievable news. We were all still getting out of Irrfan Khan's passing away and now another news had left us all heartbroken.

 

Soon after this many Bollywood stars took to Twitter and expressed their feelings on this sad incident. Akshay Kumar, Richa Chaddha and many others have tweeted about the same.

Akshay Kumar wrote, "It seems like we're in the midst of a nightmare...just heard the depressing news of #RishiKapoor ji passing away, it's heartbreaking. He was a legend, a great co-star and a good friend of the family. My thoughts and prayers with his family ??"

 

South superstar Rajinikanth wrote, "Heartbroken ... Rest In Peace ... my dearest friend #RishiKapoor"

 

 

 

Sunny Deol wrote, "Shocked by the untimely demise of Rishi Kapoor .A great co-star and a good friend . My thoughts and prayers with his family . You will be sorely missed.??."

 

Rakesh Roshan wrote, "Rishi left us... Chintu gone... still can't believe, his loss is irreparable "

 

 

Lara Dutta tweeted, "No words Broken heart. Rest in Peace #Rishiji. Love, strength and prayers for Neetu ji, Riddhima, Ranbir and the Kapoor family. "

 

 

Hema Malini wrote, "Unbelievable that such a warm human being-Rishi Kapoor is no more!Recall all my movies with him Ek Chadar Maili si, Naseeb etc &under my direction,Tell me oh Khuda. Such a lively interaction with him always!My heart goes out to dear Neetu, Ranbir & all his family. God be with them."

 

Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote, "My heart is so heavy. This is the end of an era. #Rishisir your candid heart and immeasurable talent will never be encountered again. Such a privilege to have known you even a little bit. My condolences to Neetu maam, Ridhima, Ranbir and the rest of the family. Rest in peace Sir."

Shahid Kapoor wrote, "You will always be in our hearts sir. Your charm your warmth and your unforgettable performances will give light to us all in the darkest moments. Deepest condolences to Neetuji , Ranbir and the entire family."

 

Parineet Chopra also tweeted, "This cannot be true! Rishi sir was my favourite man,and favourite co-star ever! I still remember being nervous around him in Shuddh Desi Romance. He would put me at ease and treat me just like a friend! Will never forget every advice,every joke he told.Red heart #RIP #RishiKapoor"

 

Tiger Shroff wrote, "Absolutely shattered upon hearing the news of Chintu uncle passing away the only consoling thought is that he isn't suffering wherever he is Folded hands rest in peace sir "
