Aamir Khan bereaved as his assistant of 25 years, Amos dies after a heart attack

The lockdown has brought some sad news for Aamir Khan. The Bollywood superstar's assistant Amos who worked with him for 25 long years passed away due to a heart attack. He died on Tuesday in Bandra's Holy Family Hospital. The news was confirmed by Aamir Khan's co-star Karim Haji who worked with him in Lagaan. It seems Aamir Khan told him about the death at 11.30 am. He told the newspaper, "Aamir expressed shock and total disbelief. He was doing perfectly fine. Aamir said it was an irreplaceable loss for him and the family. Aamir will be lost now because he was very close to Amos, who treated the actor like his own family. He was in awe of Aamir. While everyone knows Aamir as a perfectionist, behind him was Amos' hard work and dedication." He is survived by his wife and two kids.

It seems Amos had recently turned into a grandfather. The hard-working man had also worked with Rani Mukerji for four years when Aamir Khan took a break from films. It seems it was Aamir who told Rani to take him on as her assistant. Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao are heartbroken after his sudden demise. Filmmaker Jaideep Sen paid a tribute to Amos on Twitter. He tweeted, "Rest in Peace,Amos. Will Always have Pleasant Memories of our Association on JUDAAI."

The actor had been busy with the shoot of Laal Singh Chaddha in the North before the pandemic halted the process. The movie is the remake of Tom Hanks' blockbuster, Forrest Gump. It is slated to release in December 2020. BollywoodLife extends its condolences to Amos' family and friends.
