Hence, iconic shows like Ramayan, Mahabharat, Circus, Dekh Bhai Dekh and many others have been brought back on television. Doordarshan re-telecasted Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, starring Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia as Ram and Sita. The show broke all records and got generated unheard of TRPs. Ramayan trended all over again, and how. People were more interested in watching the mythological series than any other show, movie or web series.

Everyone loves watching these mythological shows and hence, Ramayan is all set to return once more on television. Yes, you heard that right. The show has become an emotion and each and every person is now a Ramayan fan. However, after Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan was made, other shows on the Hindu myhtology were also produced. The most famous ones have been Gurmeet Choudhary-Debina Bonnerjee's Ramayan and Ashish Sharma-Madirakshi Mundle's Siya Ke Ram.

 

 

 

 

Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee's Ramayan was created by Ramanand Sagar's son, Anand Sagar. The show received a lot of love from the audience and Gurmeet-Debina were appreciated a lot for their performance. They are still known as the Ram-Sita of television. Then in 2015, we saw another Ramayan, created by Aniruddh Pathak, titled Siya Ke Ram. Ashish Sharma and Madirakshi Mundle played Ram and Sita on the show and mesmerised us with their adorable chemistry. Ramayan was portrayed through the view of Sita in this show and was quite an interesting take. All three Ram-Sita Jodis have been adored by the audience. Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia have been the most iconic Jodi while the other two were no less, with the common factor being that all three made us fall in love with the beauty of Ramayan.
