CONFIRMED! Rashami Desai asked to quit Naagin 4

Naagin 4 has been grabbing headlines of late. Due to lockdown as a result of the novel coronavirus, productions of TV shows and films have been stalled. The entertainment industry has incurred most losses in its sector. However, the situation that prevails is painting a different picture. The pandemic is not yet ready calm down with about more than lakh people tested positive for COVID-19. As told you all, the production houses and channels are taking some necessary decision where shows that were aired are concerned. The channels are planning to shut shop for a few TV shows or revamping the same. Such is the case with Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 4.

As per reports, Naagin 4 would soon go off-air and the whole supernatural thriller show will be revamped. They have axed Rashami Desai's character, Shalaka from the show and have informed the actress about the same. "The makers are planning a complete revamp for Naagin 4, with new faces, new storyline and new twists and turns. Rashami's character does not fit in the post-lockdown version of the show and she has already been informed about it by the production team," a source close to the development informed Mumbai Mirror.

"It has been over two months since the lockdown and it will not be an easy task to get people hooked on to the show once again just as before. Things will change post lockdown. People will see things in a different way. So we do not know what is exactly going to work and the makers will have to take the risk anyway. So this entire trial and error system will go on for a few days, especially for television," the source added. Naagin 4 starrer Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria in lead roles.
