Happy birthday Dilip Joshi: Here's an ode to Jethalal's most savage moments from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
It's Dilip Joshi's birthday today. He is popular as Jethalal Champaklal Gada from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, he has been a part of the entertainment industry way before he became Jethalal. He was seen in TV shows like Kya Baat Hai, Do Aur Do Paanch, Daal Mein Kala, Kora Kagaz, Hum Sab Baraati, C.I.D. Special Bureau, F.I.R, Agadam Bagadam Tigadam to name a few. He has also been a part of Bollywood films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Khiladi 420, Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and What's Your Raashee? to name a few.
However, he rose to fame with the portrayal of Jethalal in the hit sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and on his 52nd birthday today here's a compilation of memes that show Jethalal as savage, funny and also a Bechara due to some hilarious situations that he fall into. Have a look at some memes, that we came across on a fan page on Instagram:
On Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's 11th year anniversary, the actor had opened up on being a part of the most loved comedy TV show saying, "God has been really kind," Dilip Joshi expressed his heartfelt gratitude.
"We haven't got tired yet. Personally, I am not worn out playing this character. It still feels fresh, and there's a lot to do with it. So, I never felt like quitting," he added further.
His character is a quirky one but he is nothing like Jethalal. The actor opened up on his character flirting with Babita on the show. "First of all, I don't have a Babita in my life," he said while opening on the differences between him and his characters. "I have always maintained from day one that there is no vulgarity involved in Babita-Jethalal's relationship. There's innocence in it. I don't think I have crossed the line," he added.
