Ramayan: Fans declare Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia as the most favourite on-screen Ram-Sita jodi — view poll results

While we continue to be locked down due to the coronavirus pandemic, the only way we could win this battle against COVID-19 is by being at home. Everything has been shut down, but the entertainment hasn't stopped. Even though we cannot see the new episodes of television shows or new films, we are still entertained. The old iconic shows are back to our rescue. Ramayan, Mahabharat, Circus, Dekh Bhai Dekh and many other shows made a comeback on television. Ramayan became the most loved amongst these and has also made the youth go crazy. People from all generations have been brought together in front of the television by Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia's Ramayan. The show had also received record-breaking TRPs and hence the show will once again re-run on public demand. Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia had done a great job as Ram-Sita and even today they are winning hearts.

However, after Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan was made, similar versions on Hindu mythology were also produced. The most famous ones have been Gurmeet Choudhary-Debina Bonnerjee's Ramayan and Ashish Sharma-Madirakshi Mundle's Siya Ke Ram. Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee were appreciated a lot for their performance. They are still known as the Ram-Sita of television. Even Ashish Sharma and Madirakshi Mundle had been the favourites who played Ram-Sita in Siya Ke Ram. These two have been quite famous as Ram-Sita.

Looking at the huge popularity of these three couples as Ram-Sita, we had asked who were your favourite as Ram-Sita. Undoubtedly, it is Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia. The first ever Ram-Sita Jodi on television are still ruling hearts. Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia received 79% of votes while Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee got 13 %. Ashish Sharma and Madirakshi Mundle got the lowest, 8% votes. Check out the results here:
