Sajid Nadiadwala offers financial help to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's lightman who struggled to make ends meet amidst lockdown

The coronavirus pandemic has been the biggest threat ever. The deadly virus has brought to the shut down of the world and everyone has been suffering. Even in India, these cases have been increasing rapidly and everything has been shut down. The educational institutions, malls, theatres, and the shoots of television shows and films have been stopped. In a country like ours, where everything has been so beautiful and lively now we find empty roads, unhappy faces. There is no medicine that can cure coronavirus and the only option we have is staying at home. Our home is the safest place for us right now and we need to follow the rules and regulations of the government to save our country from the pandemic. However, due to the lockdown imposed, many have been suffering. Be is a common man or a celebrity, coronavirus has left no one. We had recently heard of Sasural Simar Ka actor Ashiesh Roy asking for financial help as he is in the hospital and going through dialysis.

Many daily wage workers have been suffering due to the lockdown. People working on sets of films and TV shows also have been going through a difficult phase. They are all out of work and do not have money even to have food. One such person is Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's lightman, Ghulam Sattar who is going through a rough time due to the lockdown. Ghulam Sattar who is 54 had to leave the industry due to a physical issue that pulled him back from working. However, he recovered from the surgery with ample struggles and decided to start working back in January. But unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic took over and the lockdown was imposed. He worked for Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He has been suffering as he does not have money. As per the sources close to Spotboye, Ghulam has found some help. Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala has come to his rescue. The source revealed, "The filmmaker had asked his manager to personally look into the matter and when Sattar was called by him, he couldn't hold back his tears. He told his manager how they were struggling on a daily basis for basic needs. Sajid came to an awareness of Sattar's situation, he was baffled as he didn't have money for food and that he would survive of people's offerings of food. An amount of Rs. 10,000 was transferred to Sattar on an immediate basis. Sattar isn't the first who Sajid has helped, the filmmaker is taking care of 400 such workers who have been working on his film projects."

 

This was a sweet gesture by Sajid Nadiadwala.
