Salman Khan turns matchmaker for Pulkit Samrat-Kriti Kharbanda, Daisy Shah-Sunil Grover in Bulbul Marriage Hall

Salman Khan may be at his farmhouse in Panvel due to this lockdown but that hasn't stopped the superstar from working. If sources are to be believed, Salman Khan is constantly in touch with filmmakers, peers and colleagues at this time and is working on a fair few scripts. Yes, you read that right. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan is working on films that feature him and films that are being produced under his production banner as well. And that brings us to Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Daisy Shah and Sunil Grover.

So, there's this project called Bulbul Marriage Hall that Salman Khan will be producing and he will turn matchmaker for the two couples in the film. As per the report in Mumbai Mirror, Daisy Shah is paired opposite Sunil Grover while real-life lovers, Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda will play lovers on-screen as well. Talking about Bulbul Marriage Hall, the film is set in Uttar Pradesh and narrates the story of two couples. The romantic comedy will be directed by Rohit Nayyar while Dream Girl helmer Raaj Shaandilyaa will write the script.

When asked as to why Salman got Raaj on board, a source close to the development of the film told Mumbai Mirror, "Salman has known Raaj since he was writing TV shows like Comedy Circus. Since he is from UP, the team felt he can bring local flavour into the narrative."

Meanwhile, Salman Khan himself on the work front was gearing up for Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai alongside Jackie Shroff, Randeep Hooda and Disha Patani. The film is directed by Prabhu Dheva who has directed Salman in Wanted and Dabangg 3. He also has Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali in the pipeline. Sunil was last seen in Salman's Bharat while Daisy worked with Salman in Race 3. Both Pulkit and Kriti were last seen in Pagalpanti.
