Videos of the Week: These throwback videos of Ranbir Kapoor dancing with his late father, Rishi Kapoor, are a visual treat

Two days ago, one of the most versatile and charming actors, who defined romance in Bollywood, Rishi Kapoor, fondly known as Chintuji in the entertainment industry among friends and family, breathed his last. He passed away at 67, having lost the fight with cancer. His energy and enthusiasm while on screen were infectious, having made many live countless emotions through his performances. His naughty charm was endearing to watch. The legend was also known for his straightforward opinions, never one to mince his words, Rishi Kapoor's brutal honesty will always be one of the many things about the actor that would be missed. Today, however, we are here to talk about his neverending enthusiasm while performing, be it on screen or on stage.

We have two videos as a tribute to the late actor in his memory. The first video features Rishi Kapoor on the sets of a TV show. He can be seen dancing to his iconic song, Om Shanti Om, from Karz, where he's joined by his son Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir matches steps with his father and they groove to one of the most popular songs of the veteran actor. A fan shared the clip of the father-son duo. Have a look here:

Then, in 2012, both Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor had performed on stage at IIFA on the former's song, Bachna Ae Haseeno. Interestingly, Ranbir did a movie with the same title in 2008, in which his father's iconic song was recreated. Look at them dancing their hearts out here:

Rishi Kapoor had a strained relationship with his son. However, when he was diagnosed with cancer, it was Ranbir who insisted and convinced Rishi and Neetu Kapoor to go to New York and take the treatment. It is being said that Ranbir visited his father and mother in NYC more often after that. He grew closer than ever to his father. After being stationed in New York for almost a year, Rishi Kapoor had returned to Mumbai in September last year.

He will surely be missed by everyone.
