Shah Rukh Khan-Rajkumar Hirani film ropes in THIS ace writer?

The King of Romance and Bollywood megastar, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero, which released in December 2018. Post the debacle of the film, SRK went on sabbatical leave, though he continued to produce films like Badla and Kaamyaab. While his fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement of actor's next project, there is a piece of news, which suggests that he is collaborating with blockbuster director Rajkumar Hirani. In fact, SRK gave a subtle hint on his fans interaction session, where he said 'Raju apna sa lagta hai.' While we are still waiting for the official confirmation of this news, the latest development is making headlines that an ace writer has joined this project.

We are talking about Kanika Dhillon, who earlier penned films like Manmarziyaan, Kedarnath, Judgementall Hai Kya and web film Guilty. As per the Bollywood Hungama report, a source said, "Kanika Dhillon has come on-board and she along with Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi are busy scripting the film. Kanika is mainly scripting while Rajkumar and Abhijat are helping her with inputs. They are hoping to finish in a month or two. The film was to go on floors in August but due to the lockdown, it seems that the shoot will be pushed ahead."

Rajkumar Hirani is known for delivering blockbusters and has not given a single flop in his career. His last film Sanju, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, earned over Rs 342 crore and emerged as the highest grosser of 2018. The source assured that even this film will be a winner. "His film with Shah Rukh Khan too seems to be shaping up well, at the writing stage. And Rajkumar-Abhijat-Kanika collaboration has added a lot to the script and it'll be something to watch out for," concluded the source.
