#1yearofKabirSingh: Shahid Kapoor calls the film an 'honest, emotional arc' while thanking fans for all the love

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh was one of the most successful movies of 2019. It is considered as Shahid Kapoor's best performance to date. The film was a remake of the Telugu movie Arjun Reddy featuring Vijay Deverakonda which was the most loved by the audience. Similarly, Kabir Singh also received the same response and Shahid Kapoor was appreciated for his performance. Kabir Singh released on June 21, 2019, and it completed a year yesterday. Shahid Kapoor took to Instagram to thank his fan for showering love on his film and also described the film as an honest, emotional arc. He penned down a long note on Instagram and also thanked his cast and crew. Shahid Kapoor shared a few BTS pictures from the shoot of Kabir Singh.

Along with these pictures, he wrote, "To all those who gave so much overwhelming love to such a complex, conflicted character. Thank you. #kabirsingh was never just a film to me.. it was an emotional arc that was raw.. bare.. unabashed .. honest .. fearless .. REAL!!

In a time where people are quick to judge (others not themselves ) you understood him. You understood our interpretation of the angst of a broken heart. This one will always be special.
