Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, Guru Randhawa have shared the precautions on their social media accounts to make people aware that they should be prepared when Cyclone Nisarga hits Mumbai. They have shared the Do's and Dont's during this situation and urged everyone to stay home and stay safe.

Maharashtra CM, Uddhav Thackeray suggested that people should remain indoors for two days. "The cyclone could be more severe than the ones the state has faced till now... Tomorrow and the day after are crucial in coastal areas... Activities which had resumed (as part of easing of lockdown) will be kept shut there for the next two days, people should remain alert," said Thackeray.
