From Kajol to Sushmita Sen, 6 actresses who had the best on-screen chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan has appeared in more than 80 films ever since he made his debut in the 1992 film, Deewana. Many of his films have struck a chord with fans across the globe. He has a huge fan following, and the credit of it also goes to his wit and charming personality. We can go on and on about the impact he's had and the way he's made our lives so much better. Anyway, amongst his many films, we remember a few mainly because of the chemistry he shared with his leading ladies. Here's a look at a few of them.

Kajol

Kajol is the first name that comes to our mind. Their chemistry was so good that many kids growing up in the '90s (including us) thought they were actually married. They acted in iconic films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Baazigar, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Sushmita Sen

The actress played the role of SRK's Chemistry teacher, Miss Chandni in Farah Khan's Main Hoon Na. They both also fell in love with each other in the film. The scene in which Shah Rukh kneels down to sing Chaand Mera Dil to Sushmita was just iconic.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

They shared screen space in films like Devdas and Mohabbatein. Maybe their chemistry was extra special as they didn't end up with each other in both the films. SRK died in Devdas while Ash died in Mohabbatein. They were also seen in Josh, but as siblings.

Madhuri Dixit

They acted in a lot of films like Koyla, Anjaam, Dil To Pagal Hai, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and Devdas. The chemistry that they had in Dil To Pagal Hai stood out. Was it the Yash Chopra effect?

Deepika Padukone

Deepika and SRK were seen together in films like Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year. Om Shanti Om was the most special one. It had drama, action, romance with a dose of punar janam.

Gayatri Joshi

They shared screen space in Swades. It was one of the most matured and real romances on screen. Both the characters brought out the best in each other, which is a great sign of any relationship. Sadly, Swades was the first and last film of Gayatri Joshi.
