Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will soon resume shooting. If y'all remember well, before the lockdown, the makers of the romantic TV show were planning to bring back Mr. Bajaj who we assumed to be dead. Mr. Bajaj is an iconic character that was originally played by Ronit Roy in the 2001 show of the same name. Karan Singh Grover had stepped into his shoes after much hullabaloo as to who will play the charming and dashing second man in Prerna's life, and his salt-and-peppered look won several hearts.

But now, as per reports, Karan has reportedly quit the show. Firstly, due to the pandemic, Karan was not keen on returning and was worried about the safety of everyone, and secondly, some reports state that he wasn't very happy with the way his character had shaped up in the show. As soon as reports of Karan quitting the show surfaced, speculations as to who should replace the actor began.

Reports of Ekta Kapoor having approached Gaurav Chopra, Karan Patel, Sharad Kelkar and Hiten Tejwani surfaced. Now, each of the mentioned names has a distinct personality, but so did Mr. Bajaj. And honestly, we still cannot get over Ronit Roy's portrayal in the role. In fact, we were just about getting used to Karan's charm as Mr. Bajaj. We must say that the salt-and-peppered look suited him well. Meanwhile, reports of Karan Kundrra almost being finalised as Mr Bajaj have also been doing the rounds of late.
