Love in the time of Coronavirus: From Rana Daggubati–Miheeka Bajaj to Sujeeth; these South celebs made their relationship official despite lockdown

The coronavirus pandemic has put the world in extreme crisis. We have also seen the demise of some beloved artists, which has left fans grieving. In the middle of all this, some celebs from the South Indian film industry decided to get engaged or married. We guess they had decided the dates in advance and could not push beyond a point. The biggest surprise was the Roka of Rana Daggubati and Miheeka Bajaj. It came out of the blue. Here is a look at celebs who strengthened their relationship in an official manner during lockdown.

Rana Daggubati Miheeka Bajaj

In the month of May, Rana Daggubati gave us the biggest surprise. He confirmed on social media that interior designer Miheeka Bajaj had accepted to his proposal for marriage. No one knew much about the girl whom Rana was dating for a couple of years. Congratulations poured in from the fraternity. Days later, they had a Roka ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios. Rana said that everything felt right with Miheeka and his exes had blessed the relationship. Miheeka looked beautiful in a saree for her Roka, which took place on May 22.

Dil Raju

Noted Telugu producer Dil Raju got married for the second time on May 10. It was a traditional ceremony at the Sri Venkateswara temple in Nizamabad, Telangana. His first wife Anitha died due to a cardiac arrest in 2017. The marriage was a low-key affair.

Nikhil Siddhartha Pallavi Varma

On May 14, Nikhil Siddhartha got hitched to his fianc e, Pallavi Varma, a doctor. Their wedding was already postponed once before due to the coronavirus pandemic. The couple looked radiant in their ethnic wear. They had been dating for a few years before. Pallavi hails from a place called Bhimavaram. They were initially supposed to marry on April 16.

Sujeeth Pravalika

Saaho filmmaker Sujeeth got engaged to his dentist girlfriend, Pravalika, in Hyderabad. They had been seeing each other for a long time. There is buzz about a wedding in August though it has not been confirmed. Pravalika looked lovely in a green sari.

Mayuri Kyatari Arun

Kannada actress Mayuri Kyatari got married to her long-time boyfriend, Arun, on June 11 at a temple in Bengaluru. She knew Arun for 10 long years. She wrote on Instagram, "Yes I am married 12/06/2020. 10 years of friendship given a meaning today. vl update more shortly" (sic). They were dressed in traditional wear.

Well, the coronavirus pandemic did not stop them from formalizing their relationship. If we see it differently, they managed to do things in a low-key manner without fussing over details which might have happened otherwise.
