The lockdown has meant that we are holed up inside our homes for close to three months now. World over, people are suffering due to loss of jobs, loved ones and stress of social distancing. BollywoodLife caught up for an exclusive chat with Namit Khanna. The handsome hunk has done shows like Twisted, Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai and Sanjivani 2. BollywoodLife caught up for a chat with with Namit Khanna, where he told us, "When the lockdown was announced, I was nursing a sore back. A lot of days went in that. I would be ordering food daily. Now, I have found routine. I am learning new languages, practising the guitar and having these house parties over video calls. We keep on connecting through video calls. My nephew calls up anytime, he just wants to talk and talk (laughs out loud). Plus, there is so much content to watch on Netflix and Amazon."

The actor says it is a time for self-realisation. "You realize so many things. I am liking the way I have control of things. From cooking to cleaning and stocking up supplies, I feel my dormant skills have woken up. I have made a couple of TikTok videos as well," he said. The actor has been editing clips from travel videos and also exploring the artist in him. He does charcoal paintings in his free time. "I feel we are enriching our inner selves in this period. I have read books, indulged in my hobbies and feel relaxed," said the handsome hunk. He also said that he is no hurry to get back to work.

Talking about getting back to work, Namit said, "I have not reached that point of saturation. I want to do good work with great people. My presence in a project should add value and enhance my creatively. I do not take up work unless I am completely sure," he said. Namit Khanna is also very distressed about news of actors committing suicide in this phase. "Please, do not do that. I feel it is a very cowardly thing. There is not a single person in this world, who does not have issues. There are helpline numbers, talk to someone. At times, it is just a moment of madness. Please seek professional help if you need to. I know lack of money can be stressful but then, it is a materialistic thing. Money comes and goes. Remember, this too shall pass," he opines.

Namit Khanna reveals he did not watch the previous season of Sanjivani when it was aired. "I saw it before I started my shoot of the new season to understand what is the 'khasiyat' of the brand name. The energy was different then than now. Gurdeep Kohli is a great actor and timeless beauty," he states. When we asked him about his favourite celeb-lockdown partner, he said he would like to spend quarantine with Alia Bhatt as his vibe matches here. "I think we will laugh a lot together," says Namit.
