Naagin 5: Kundali Bhagya's Dheeraj Dhoopar to be a part of Ekta Kapoor's supernatural TV show?

Naagin is one of the most loved supernatural series on Indian television. Since 2015, EktaTV Czarina Kapoor has been entertaining the audience with this genre and a story will thrills and suspense. Naagin has been turned into a franchise since the first season of the show was a huge hit. It is currently in its fourth season which is about to end soon. Ekta had revealed in May that Naagin 4 would come to an end soon and would make way for the next season, Naagin 5.

Just yesterday, a teaser of Naagin 5 had been revealed and with the teaser, fans decode who the next Naagin is. Going by the teaser, the Naagin has a strong resemblance to Hina Khan. Reports of the actress being approached for the show had been spreading like a wildfire for ages now. With the teaser, it was confirmed that Hina is the new Naagin. Now, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Kundali Bhagya actor Dheeraj Dhoopar has been approached for the show. Yes, you read that right.

"Naagin has emerged as a big brand and I didn't think twice before giving my nod. I am a fan of the hot Naagin ladies... my favourite part of the show is watching them dance," Dheeraj joked as confirmed the news with Mumbai Mirror.

When asked will he be shaking a leg with the Naagins too, the actor said, "I hope so, it will be a dream come true." Vinny Arora, Dheeraj's actress-wife is also pretty excited about Dheeraj joining the show. Further, Dheeraj opened up on challenges of being a part of such a show. "It's going to be challenging because I have only played normal, human characters till now. Also, for a VFX-heavy show like Naagin, you have to pretend act with props, which are later enhanced or replaced on the edit table, so that will be

new," he said.

Dheeraj revealed that he has begun prepping for the show since it is likely to go on floors next month. "Since I have a lean frame, I won't have to work much on my physical appearance. But since I will be shooting for the two shows simultaneously, I'll have to be conscious to ensure my body language is distinctly different. I am watching a lot of films from the era too," the Kundali Bhagya actor told the portal.

When asked about who the new Naagin is, Dheeraj insisted on not knowing about it while heaping praise for Ekta and the production house. "I trust the production house implicitly and I love Ekta; whatever I am is because of her. So far, I have not been informed about who else will be a part of the show or even the arc of my character. It will all unfold as we go along. I am looking forward to the shoot."
