When Thala Ajith got upset with wife Shalini but the outcome was the sweetest

Kollywood megastar, Thala Ajith, who is known for shattering records at the box office, is also considered a thorough gentleman by his fans and industry members. Well. now we have an incident narrated by an actor, which will make you say that Thala Ajith is a gem of a person. Actor Prithviraj, who has shared screen space with Thala in Aval Varuvala, grabbed the headlines last year when he passed distasteful comments on the Suriya and Vivegam actor.

Now in a recent interview, Vaaname Ellai actor, who is fondly called as Bablu recalled an incident and went on to say that Thala Ajith is the only gentleman in the industry. Narrating the incident, Prithviraj said that before the lockdown, he went to a restaurant, where he saw Shalini Ajith and daughter Anoushka. Since he never shared screen space with Ajith's wife, he was quite hesitant to go and talk to her. In fact, this thing happened thrice and during the third time, the hotel manager reportedly called Prithviraj and asked his permission to share his number with Shalini.

The actor received a surprise call as he explained, "I received a call from Shalini Ajith the very next moment and she apologised for not coming and talking to me when she saw him at the hotel. She had apparently informed Ajith about seeing me and not coming up and talking to me and she revealed that Ajith was upset with her for that. He had told her that I was a senior actor, his friend and his school senior as well and that she should have come and talked to me." He further added, "He needn't have done that. It shows his upbringing and class. He is a perfect gentleman."

On the professional front, Thala Ajith will be next seen in Valimai, which also features Huma Qureshi in a key role. It is produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by H Vinoth.
