Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Parth Samthaan aka Anurag Basu QUITS the show?

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has been one of the most loved shows of television. Ekta Kapoor had brought back her iconic show from the past and fans have showered love on this new version of the show as well. Anurag and Prerna's iconic love story is the favourite of many. Earlier, Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan had played Prerna and Anurag. Now, Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes have impressed us as Anurag-Prerna. We have also seen a lot of replacements in the show. Hina Khan was replaced by Aamna Sharif as Komolika and later we saw Karan Singh Grover being replaced by Karan Patel as Mr. Bajaj. Now, we will see another big replacement in the show. Yes, we are talking about the lead actor Parth Samthaan aka Anurag Basu. Well, this surely a huge shock for all Parth Samthaan fans as the actor had done a splendid job as Anurag in the show.

As per reports in Pinkvilla, Parth Samthaan has decided to opt-out of the show as he wants to focus on his health and other projects. A source close to the entertainment portal said, "Parth wants to now direct his attention towards his health and the other projects he is in talks with. Ekta Kapoor has been trying to persuade Parth into retainment but the actor has expressed his wish to opt-out. The production, in the meantime, has already started to consider actors to step in Parth's shoes but are finding it difficult." Earlier in a live session with Pinkvilla Parth Samthaan had said that he might be doing movies this year. He was in talks for a Bollywood film.

However, there is no official announcement made about this by Parth Samthaan or Ekta Kapoor. However, fans surely do not want Parth to leave. If this news is true, it will be interesting to see who will step into Parth Samthaan's shoes.
