A lot of names had come forward and finally, we got to see Hina Khan as Sarvashresth Adi Naagin. Mohit Malhotra was paired opposite as Hriday. Dheeraj Dhoopar played the villain Cheel Aakesh. However, these three had a small role to play. As per the story, Adi Naagin, Hriday and Cheel Aakesh have now been reborn as Bani, Jay, and Meer to complete their story. Surbhi Chandna plays Bani while Miley Jab Hum Tum actor Mohit Sehgal plays Jay. Sharad Malhotra has stepped in as the antagonist, Meer. The first episode of these three actors aired recently. Fans have hailed Surbhi Chandna, Mohit Sehgal, and Sharad Malhotra as Bani, Jay and Meer. Surbhi Chandna and Mohit Sehgal have been paired opposite each other for the very first time. Surbhi Chandna was last seen in Sanjivani 2 as Dr. Ishaani and Mohit Sehgal was last seen in Love Ka Hai Intezaar.

Both of them looked good in the first episode and did receive appreciation from their friends and fans for their first episode. Twitter was all filled with praises for this new pair of Naagin 5.
