Kangana Ranaut played Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi in the 2019 film, Manikarnika. She portrayed a brave warrior in the film, a symbol of resistance to the British Raj. The aggressive nature of Rani Lakshmi Bai seems to be a trait that Kangana also possesses. This trait has somewhat become more dominant in Kangana after Sushant Singh Rajput's demise. Here's presenting prominent personalities the actress has fought with publicly.

Urmila Matondkar

In an interview, Kangana had said that Urmila is a 'soft porn actor' who is 'not known for her acting'. This was after Urmila in an interview asked Kangana to introspect about the drug culture in her home state of Himachal Pradesh. Reacting to Kangana's comments, Urmila said, "Today, as I am spoken about like this by another woman, which level should that be going to? It really fails me"

Uddhav Thackeray

The BMC demolished Kangana Ranaut's 'illegal' office in Mumbai. Reacting to it, the actress said in a video, "Uddhav Thackeray, tujhe kya lagta hai? (what do you think?) That you colluded along with the film mafia, demolished my home and took revenge on me? My home was demolished today, your arrogance will crumble tomorrow." She added, "This is the wheel of time, remember, it never stays the same." Many felt that the BMC demolished Kangana's office after she compared Mumbai to POK.

Hrithik Roshan

They were seen together in Kites. But their spat was no less than washing dirty linen in public. After multiple allegations from both sides, it became a legal battle as well. They were rumoured to be dating while shooting for Krrish 3. While Ranaut claimed they were romantically involved, Roshan denied. "Ther r more chances of me having had an affair with d Pope dan any of d (Im sure wonderful)women d media hs ben naming.Thanks but no thanks," Hrithik had tweeted.

Karan Johar

In her appearance on Koffee with Karan, she called Karan Johar the flag-bearer of nepotism and movie mafia. The actress said, "In my biopic, if ever it's made, you'll play that stereotypical Bollywood biggie, who is like you know very snooty and completely intolerant towards outsiders, flag bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia." Her comment kind of reignited the nepotism debate.

Jaya Bachchan

In her recent Rajya Sabha speech, Jaya said that the entertainment industry was being flogged by social media and asked the government to protect and support it. "Jis thali mein khate hai Usme chhed karte hai. Galat baat hai," she said. Reacting to it, Kangana wrote on Twitter, "Which plate are you referring to Jaya ji? A thaali (plate) was given, in which a two-minute role, item numbers and a romantic scene were offered and that too only after sleeping with hero. I taught feminism to the film industry, decorated the 'thaali' with patriotic films. This is my own plate Jaya ji, it is not yours."

Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker

In an interview to Republic TV, Kananga called Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker B-grade actresses. She said, "I only have to lose here, because tomorrow they (referring to the 'movie mafia') will get some 20 needy outsiders like Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker who will say 'oh only Kangana has a problem with Karan Johar, but we love Karan Johar.' If you love Karan Johar, why are you both B-grade actresses? You are better looking than Alia Bhatt and Ananya, you both are better actresses, why don't you get work? Your existence is a proof of nepotism. What are you telling me how happy you are with this industry?" Swara took to Twitter and wrote, "Needy outsider - B grade actress (But) - better looking & better actor than Alia Bhatt & Ananya!" Net net I think this was a compliment! Thanks Kangana! I think u are gorgeous, generous & a great actor ! Shine on." On the other hand, Taapse wrote, "Maine suna class 12th n 10th ke result ke baad humaara result bhi aa gaya hai! Humaara grade system ab official hai ? Abhi tak toh number system pe value decide hoti thi na."
