Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2: Not Sidharth Shukla but fans want Mohammad Nazim to be paired opposite Devoleena Bhattacharjee — view poll results

An Instagram user named Yashraj Mukate had given an interesting twist to Kokilaben and her conversation with Gopi Bahu and Rashi. The video went viral on the internet and is currently the most played song. Yashraj Mukate became a sensation overnight and this song literally brought back the season 2 of the show. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 promo released recently and Gopi bahu aka Devoleena Bhattacharjee returned. The promo has left fans excited for the new season. In the promo, we see Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu entering in beautiful pink saree. She greets the audience with 'Jai Shree Krishna'. She introduces a new character Gehna by cracking the same cooker and rasoda joke. She also describes Gehna a bit and says that Gehna gives her sweet surprises and sometimes even shock.

After the promo released, fans wanted to know about the male lead of the show. They wanted to know whether Mohammad Nazim is returning as Ahem Modi or not. There were reports of Sidharth Shukla being finalised to play the lead opposite Devoleena Bhattacharjee. A source told Pinkvilla, "Sidharth is the first choice to play the male lead on Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. The makers are currently in the process of enabling a discussion with him. The discussion is currently on a very primary level but if things work out, his fans would be in for a surprise." Hence we had asked fans whom they want to see opposite Devoleena Bhattacharjee in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 amongst Sidharth Shukla and Mohammad Nazim. And it is Mohammad Nazim who wins it. Yes, fans want their original Ahem Modi to be back on Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. Well, surely Ahem and Gopi were the most favourite back then and watching them again will surely be a treat. 59% of fans have voted for Mohammad Nazim while 41 % want Sidharth Shukla to be the male lead. It seems Mohammad is surely coming back as Ahem. A source close to ETimes said, "Rashmi Sharma and Pawan Kumar are leaving no stone unturned to get the best of the lot on board. After Devoleena, they have now roped in Nazim. While a formal meeting is yet to be held between the actor and makers, the deal is as good as locked. Ahem is an important character, and season two will be incomplete without him. The creative team is in the process of fleshing out the graph of the character. Expect Ahem to be back, but with a twist."
