Balika Vadhu actress Anjum Farooki blessed with a baby girl

Balika Vadhu actress Anjum Farooki has been blessed with a baby girl. The lady delivered the baby girl on August 28, 2020. She shared the news on social media. They have named the baby girl as Haneya. It means a child who brings happiness for her parents. It is a Quranic name. The actress got married to Saqib Syed in 2013. After that, she quit the world of acting and is enjoying her life as a home-maker. Anjum's husband, Syed works in the Indian Navy. She has said that she misses the cameras but working in a daily soap is not feasible for her. Anjum Farooki played the role of Gauri on the show, Balika Vadhu.

Fans of the show have sent her congratulations. Balika Vadhu was re-run on TV during the lockdown. The show was one of the landmark ones in Indian TV history. It made stars out of Sidharth Shukla, late Pratyusha Banerjee, Surekha Sikri and others. Of late, many actresses have delivered babies.
