Sushant Singh Rajput case: NCB asked Rhea Chakraborty to reach their office by 10:30 am today

After the arrest of Sushant Singh Rajput's manager Samuel Miranda yesterday as he confessed of arranging marijuana for the late actor, NCB also arrested SSR's cook Dipesh Sawant on the charge of delivering drugs and will be produced today in court. Reportedly, NCB will also summoned the late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and reached today morning at her residence and asked her to come at their by 10: 30 am today. The team had arrive at her residence to submit the summon. "It depends upon her, as she has to join the investigation. She can come on her own or she can come with the team," said NCB ( Narcotics Control Bureau).

"We want to meet Rhea in front of Showik and Samuel to find out if she had any role in pushing Sushant into drugs," said an official from the NCB department. Samuel and Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty will be in NCB's custody till September 9. After the arrest of Showik, Rhea's father Lt Col (retd) Indrajit Chakraborty said in a statement to India Today, "Congratulations India, you have arrested my son, I'm sure next in the line is my daughter, and I don't know who is next thereafter. You have effectively demolished a middle-class family. But, of course, for the sake of justice everything is justified. Jai Hind."

On the other hand, actress Taapsee Pannu has come out in the support of Rhea Chakraborty as she tweeted, "Every woman who is with a relatively more successful man is NOT a 'gold digger' and for the rest , truth and investigating agencies will do their job. One step at a time." The Thappad actress earlier wrote on the micro-blogging site, "I didn't know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn't proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased's sanctity."
