Karan Johar on Mardaani 2: Rani Mukerji is one of our best actors and this trailer proves it

Rani Mukerji is back with Mardaani 2 and the trailer of the film was released on Thursday. This is the second installment of the Mardaani Franchise. Rani Mukerji was appreciated for her role as Shivani Shivaji Roy, a police inspector who is in charge of arresting a serial rapist and the trailer of the film has received a lot of positive responses. Rani Mukerji's good friend Karan Johar has also praised the trailer and Rani's performance. He shared the trailer of the film and wrote, "Superb trailer! Crackling with intrigue, relevance and extreme force! RANI MUKERJI is one of our best actors and this trailer proves it even more! ?"

Apart from Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan have also praised Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 2 trailer. Arjun Kapoor also shared the trailer on Twitter and wrote, "Naam Rani and character Shivani, dono jab milte hai toh kehte hai usse Mardaani! What a trailer !!"

 

Hrithik Roshan wrote, "Bullseye ! What a trailer . #Rani you are amazing ? good luck to the entire team ! #Mardaani2"

 

Mardaani 2 revolves around a female student who is raped and murdered, and how Rani is determined to bring her justice by dragging the culprit to the court. The film is directed by Gopi Puthran and is produced by Aditya Chopra. Mardaani 2 is slated to release on December 13.
