Nia Sharma: I used to look up to Sanaya Irani and Barun Sobti because of their huge fan following

Nia Sharma is all set to impress us with her spectacular performance in Naagin 4 with Jasmin Bhasin. The actress is currently busy with the promotions of the show. Nia recently spoke about her journey in the television industry and how she used to look up to actors like Sanaya Irani and Barun Sobti. In an interview with the Times Of India, she said, "I do have come a long way. I remember of starting with Kaali, where I played the role of school girl. I wasn't even in the lead role. In the later show, I became lead. That time, I used to look up to Sanaya Irani, Drashti Dhami and Barun Sobti because of their huge fan following. They were hugely popular stars, they are still now. I would feel 'wow, this is called fan following'. Then after Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Jamai Raja, I realised I have also become a popular name." Nia also spoke about the time she finally was successful in her field.

She said, " That was the time I started grooming myself personally. It was important. When you have earned a good name, you are financially independent. I tried to become the girl I always wanted to be. I have groomed myself the way I want to be, I dress up the way I want to be. I feel happy for myself." The Jamai 2.0 actress also spoke about Naagin falling prey to trolls and memes on social media due to its supernatural theme and her rapport with Jasmin Bhasin. She revealed, " I am ready. Bring it on. You are always there in the limelight. Sometimes they stoop very low but everyone has their own opinion. Let's take it in a light humour. You can't expect everyone to say just good things about you. There will be good things and sometimes very bad. Jasmin and I are of same age. We speak on the same level and sometimes they are stupid also. We share a good connect and our wavelengths match."

 

Naagin 4 is all set to air from this Saturday i.e December 14 and is one of the most awaited shows on television. The show also features Vijayendra Kumeria, Sayantani Ghosh and Shalin Bhanot.
