Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon to ADOPT Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia in Dinesh Vijan's next

Bollywood News: Dinesh Vijan's next featuring Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao is going to be a different film of sorts. Rajkummar and Kriti will play orphans in the film but they won't get adopted. Instead, they will end up adopting parents and ruin their married life altogether. Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia have been brought on-board to play the parents in this yet-to-be-titled film. This innovative idea came to Dinesh Vijan when he was sipping a cup of coffee. "This innovative idea also came from real life though it is not inspired by any incident in particular. We have spun it into a crazy comedy with our unique tadka," he said.

The filmmaker pointed out that he was in talks with Rajkummar and Kriti Sanon for another film, but then this film happened. Revealing how this film came into the picture, he added, "That project wasn't working out, so, one day, over a cup of coffee, I sketched out this idea to them and they jumped at it. Raj and Kriti came on board even before the script was written." Dinesh mentioned that Rajkummar has exceptional comic-timing and so does Kriti Sanon. He gave examples of films like Stree, Housefull 4 and Luka Chuppi.

Dinesh Vijan's untitled film marks the directorial debut of a Gujarati filmmaker, Abhishek Jain, who has worked on Subhash Ghai's Yuvraaj and Black & White. Talking about Abhishek, Dinesh said, "It's always been our policy to back new directors, be it Amar Kaushik who gave us Stree and Bala, Laxman Utekar who came good with Luka Chuppi and is currently directing Mimi, and Hardik Mehta who will keep you engaged in Roohi Afzana. With Abhishek at the helm, we are looking forward to a roller-coaster ride that children and parents can watch together."
