He began his acting career with the show Kya Mast Hai Life, where he played the role of Vir Mehra. Soon after that, we saw him in Jhansi Ki Rani, where he played the supporting role of Nana Sahib. However, Shaheer Sheikh rose to fame with Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal opposite Saumya Seth. He was loved as Anant Bajpai in the show and his cute chemistry with Saumya is still remembered by all. Shaheer Sheikh established a handsome lover-boy image for himself with the show.

Later, Shaheer went on to play Arjuna, a warrior prince and the third Pandava in the mythological show, Mahabharat. From playing a cute and handsome boy to playing a mythological character, Shaheer has impressed us with his amazing performances. What everyone is not aware about though is that Shaheer Sheikh has also done many Indonesian shows, and is one of the favourite actors in Indonesia.

Shaheer Sheikh was next seen as Dev Dixit, a young and successful business tycoon, opposite Erica Fernandes in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. The show as also Dev-Sonakshi's love story was loved by many. Shaheer was appreciated for his performance in the show and he is still known as Dev to many. Shaheer Sheikh is currently seen in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke opposite Rhea Sharma.

The show is a spin-off of the Mohsin Khan-Shivangi Joshi, starrer, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Shaheer Sheikh as Abir Rajvansh has impressed us once again. Shaheer and Rhea as Abir and Mishti aka MishBir have become one of the most loved couples on television.
