Happy Birthday, Manoj Bajpayee: The Satyameva Jayate actor to ring in his 51st birthday in the hills with family

It's Manoj Bajpayee's birthday today and the actor is currently stranded in Uttarakhand, though with his family. For those not in the know, the Gangs of Wasseypur actor was shooting at a remote place in Uttarakhand for his next web project when the lockdown was announced. The actor and his family didn't have a chance to return to their home city and the lockdown was extended further. For him, there could be "no better setting" than where he is right now.

While talking to Mumbai Mirror, Manoj Bajpayee opened up saying that his best birthday gift would be the flattening of the curve of Coronavirus pandemic. On his quarantine birthday, Manoj Bajpayee said, "I am in the hills with my family. There can be no better setting." Manoj also revealed what he has been up to in this lockdown period. He revealed that he has been reading going on short treks with his family. "The only problem is that we're not allowed to go out of the compound here, and as all the houses are far apart from each other, there is hardly any human contact," he added.

When asked how this lockdown and the pandemic situation can affect the entertainment industry, the Naam Shabana actor said, "The world is going to be a very different place. People and Bollywood will have to adapt to these changes. I'm really concerned and hope that we can get back on our feet quickly."

Meanwhile, the Satyameva Jayate actor has Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari in the pipeline. The actor was all praise for both his co-stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Diljit Dosanjh. When talking about Fatima, the actor said that being from the middle-class family background and despite achieving success, the Dangal actress has held on to her values and ground. On the other hand, he called Diljit a quiet monster while revealing that the Soorma actor could pull a joke on you without your comprehension.
