Telugu TV actress Sravani dies by suicide; family blames Tiktoker Devaraj Reddy

Another actress claims her by hanging at her residence. Telugu television actress, Sravani Kondapalli was found dead at her apartment in Madhuranagar, Hyderabad. She reportedly hanged herself on 8th September between 9 to 10 pm. Police are investigating her suicide.

The actress, known for her stint in serial Manasu Mamata, reportedly hanged herself in her bathroom. Her body was taken to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem. Her family has registered a police complaint at SR Nagar Police Station. They are blaming Tiktoker Devaraj Reddy of harassing and threatening their daughter. As per the reports, Sravani became acquainted with Devaraj through Tiktok. They became friends and started meeting regularly after that.

The family believes that Sravani committed suicide out of anger as she had become anxious after getting in touch with Devaraj. They told the police that Devaraj would call her and threaten her with maligning her image and damaging her reputation in the industry. After the threats and phone calls, Sravani would be in constant stress, the family said. The actress's family claims that it is due to those threats that their daughter took the tragic extreme step.

Devaraj Reddy belongs to Gollaprolu near Kakinada area in Andra Pradesh. Sravani's brother, Shiva wants Devaraj to be punished severely. Over the last few months, the Hindi television industry saw a lot of celebs claiming their lives amidst the lockdown. Preksha Mehta, Manmeet Grewal, Susheel Gowda, Samir Sharma also died by suicide. The cause of their step is unknown. These news reports sent shock waves across the country. Mental health awareness promotion has been in place. Reportedly, Sushant Singh Rajput also died by suicide. The country is in mayhem after her death.
