Raj Anadkat BEATS Bhavya Gandhi as the better Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah! — view poll results

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been one show that can never be hated. The show has been running since 2008 and is still like one fresh new show. Jethalal, Daya, Tapu, Taarak, Sonu, Abdul, Popatlal and all the other characters have become a part of our lives. It is undoubtedly the best comedy show, and one can never really get bored of it. Tapu Sena have been our favourite since the start and we have literally seen these kids grow up. Their amazing performances have been the reason why many kids have tried to imitate them and form their own sena. Bhavya Gandhi played Tapu in the beginning and was loved by many. He had totally owned that character and one could have never imagined him being replaced. Bhavya left the show in 2017 and was replaced by Raj Anadkat. However, it wasn't easy to believe that we won't see our favourite actor as Tapu again. There were many fans who had taken to social media to request the makers and Bhavya Gandhi to not leave the show.

Fans then wanted to know who would be the new Tapu in the show and whether he will make us love Tapu as we did earlier. Everyone wanted someone who could do complete justice to the role earlier played by Bhavya. Raj Anadkat stepped in as Tapu and in no time was well accepted by the audience. His performance was appreciated and he completely became the face of Tapu in no time. Raj Anadkat had a huge task to do but it won't be wrong to say that now we know Raj as Tapu.

We had recently asked the fans who they think played Tapu better amongst Raj Anadkat and Bhavya Gandhi. And surprisingly, it is not Bhavya Gandhi but Raj Anadkat who won the votes. This is a clear indication that he has done his job very well. 54 % of people have voted for Raj Anadkat while 46 % have voted for Bhavya Gandhi. Bhavya had played Tapu for so many years but in just 3 and half years, Raj Anadkat became the favourite. Check out the poll results here:
